Clippies and Mommy and Daddy Day!

As you can see from the above pictures, Amaya finally has enough hair to wear a little clippie! Her hair is still pretty thin and pretty fine, but she has a little tuft on top that is just enough to hold in a little clip bow. I think she looks adorable in her little clippie and I am sure you do too! She is getting so big, so fast. I can't believe she is already 3 and half months old! She'll be 4 months on the day of Alex's birthday party--March 7th. She doesn't have a doctor's appointment until March 8th, but I am guessing she weighs around 10-11 lbs. by now. Still a little peanut, but getting there. Alex is turning 2 in a few weeks, and boy does he act like it lately. We have had tantrums galore, and we're not even sure what to do sometimes. We just stare at him and ignore him the best we can, and we've started putting him in time-out, though he doesn't understand the concept too well. He will usually sit in the spot we put him, but he screams the whole time. It's been interesting around here to say the least. He still has his loves--basketball, football, baseball, soccer balls, cars, and of course choos choos especially Thomas the train. In fact, Thomas is the theme we decided to go with for his birthday party. It's his absolute favorite thing right now. He makes special requests to watch Thomas anytime he sees the on-demand screen. On an unrelated note, due to all of the wonderful snow, Abe and I were home with our kids all week, so on Monday we dropped them both off to daycare and decided to have a Mommy and Daddy date day. Plus we needed to celebrate our birthdays and Valentine's Day. So we headed downtown to Fogo de Chao and shopping at Filene's Basement. I came out empty handed, but Abe got a cool new hoodie. Looks like I'll finally be going back to work tomorrow, and I am excited for it! I've been home far too long! Enjoy the photos of our little princess in her clippies and some of our other pics from this weekend.
Amaya in her Moby Wrap, she can now face forward! This is what he does in the morning...pretends to play xbox, just like Daddy Little Ice Princess Amaya in the snow!
My little helper helping me clean the pantry and the kitchen on a snow day
Little drummer Boy..LOL..he does this all the time!
Me and Abe getting ready toleave for our day with no kids!

  1. Amaya's cheeks are starting to fill out! She loves to look at you and absolutely loves it when you talk to her!

Alex is hilarious with his drum set. He just marches around drumming away. It's funny when he turns his ball bin upside down and uses that as a drum.

And he's such a little gamer! He loves putting those headphones on ^_^

  2. Love the pictures! She is starting to look like a girl-- meaning she is getting her girly features...her eyes, that lil flirty smile...so cute!
Terrible Twos & Tantrum 3's-- thats when they learn to talk back and their hitting becomes worse...good luck and keep up with the time-outs! We also let Matt just cry it out in the corner or where we put him-- eventually they get tired of crying and then its onto the next thing!
