Our handsome little boy turned 2 on March 5th, so last Sunday we gathered our friends and family together at our home to celebrate. We decorated with his favorite theme--Thomas the train and even had a Thomas cake from Mars! He had so much fun! We are so thankful to our family and friends for all of the wonderful presents he received as well. Some of his favorites were:a Thomas blanket and Thomas PJs, A light-up Buzz Lightyear, A few geotrax set-ups, and a new Playdoh set. We can't believe our little man is already 2 years old and growing so fast everyday. He speaks in sentences now, runs, jumps, climbs and still loves anything sports or train related! It's amazing to watch him grow up right before our eyes. He now loves to chase the cats around the house and is too independent to have Mommy and Daddy carry him up and down the stairs. He now insists on climbing up and down all by himself. Since getting the suggestion from our doctor at his two year check-up, we recently bought him a potty and have been introducing him to the concept, though we know it may take awhile for it to set in. I plan on devoting some time to that this summer when I am off of school for a bit. Amid the chaos, Amaya turned 4 months old too! She is now smiling and laughing out loud, and rolled over the first time on my and Alex's birthday. Btw--I turned 26 the same day Alex turned 2! He's my little birthday present! Amaya is getting cuter and cuter and has this adorable girly little voice. She likes to talk to us, and especially loves playing with her Daddy. We hope you all enoy the pics from the past few weeks. Alex had such a great time at his Birthday Party! My favorite part was when he took his Thomas train that came on top of his cake and used the cake icing as train tracks :)
