Easter Fun

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! It's been a pretty busy week for us, with me returning to work from Spring Break, and Abe having to work his annual Saturday shift, so we are a little behind in getting the Easter picstures up. We had a great Easter though--Alex's 3rd and Amaya's 1st! We started the day by opening the kids' baskets, then attending Easter Sunday service at our church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Essex. It was a very nice service, though extremely crowded and we had to sit in the basement for the overflow service! After church, we headed down to Dundalk to eat breakfast with Abe's Mom and my Grandma. We helped out with hiding the Easter eggs for the kids, then waited patiently for Abe's sisters and their families to arrive--this part was not easy for Alex, as he kept eyeing the baskets wondering when he could dig in! Once they got there, we ate again, opened baskets, and hunted eggs. Alex decided he was too cool to hunt eggs with everyone else, and played ball by himself to the side. LOL. Then we just hung out until tie to go home. It was beautiful weather, and overall a really great Easter! Now we are looking forward to spring weather, playing outside, and Amaya's baptism in less than a month. It's hard to believe our little princess is now 5 months old. She had her first bite of real food today--carrots. She loved them and ate almost the whole jar! We feel so blessed to be able to spend another great Easter with our two kids and our family. Check out our pics below to see what went on during our fun Easter day!
